NYFW September 2016 - Diaries Part 1

For our New York Fashion Week show scheduled on Saturday September 10th, we left Paris with our entire luggage full of Cheyma clothes on Wednesday.

On Thursday, we set up our fitting sessions with our beautiful models in a nice apartment uptown. The pink walls with white trims where perfect! How serendipitous? They totally matched the baroque but sweet spirit of the collection.

That moment was the occasion for us Cheyma team to expand by discovering our #CheymaGirls – absolutely gorgeous and super kind on top of that! – and our shoe partner, the fabulous Copen Dianthe from Streetzies, but more about her and her must-have bunny high heel slippers soon.

Fittings are a crucial step before any fashion show, it allows you to chose which model will wear what outfit, based on their looks, attitude, and soul of the clothes. We always ask the model if she’s happy with it all: indeed, we need her to be 100% confident while walking down the runway. It’s our goal with our customers too, have them wear their Cheyma clothes as proudly as possible, empower them through our designs, and humbly contribute to make the world a happier place.

We also used the moment to match our looks with the bunny and kitty slippers from Streetzies.
